Fuel surcharge due to the crisis in the Middle East
In connection with the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, as of 28th February 2026, Delamode Bulgaria Ltd. has recorded a significant increase in expenses as a result of the sharp rise in the price of diesel fuel.
For the period 27 February – 23 March, the price of diesel fuel in Bulgaria increased by 23,25% – from €1.29/litre to €1.59/litre (source: Fuelo.bg).
These dynamic market changes have a direct impact on the cost of transport services. To continue maintaining the high quality and reliability of our deliveries, it is necessary to reflect these external factors in our pricing policy.
In this regard, we are introducing a temporary weekly price indexing mechanism, linked to fuel price movements. The first update will be based on the average values for the Monday-to-Monday period.
The mechanism shall enter into force on 9 March 2026 and shall apply until market stabilisation.
