General Terms and Conditions for Sea Freight – Delamode Bulgaria Ltd.
(valid for inquiries with departures in the period 1–15 August 2025)

1. Prices and Validity

• All prices are quoted excluding VAT.
• Offers are subject to space and equipment availability, as well as additional charges such as PSS, GRI, and others imposed by the shipping line during transport.
• Prices are valid provided there is access for heavy-duty vehicles at the loading and unloading addresses.

2. Delay Charges

• Free time for unloading and container release: 6 hours.
• In case of delay:
  • EUR 100 for the first day
  • EUR 125 for each subsequent day

3. Transit Document Handling

• If customs clearance is handled by the client:
  • The transit must be closed no later than the day after unloading.
  • In case of delay:
    • EUR 15/day for goods up to USD 25,000
    • EUR 30/day for goods over USD 25,000
• If customs clearance is handled by Delamode Bulgaria Ltd., these charges do not apply.

4. Liability

• Delamode Bulgaria Ltd.’s liability is limited in accordance with:
  • Warsaw, Montreal, and CMR Conventions
  • Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail (COTIF)
  • Bill of Lading terms and conditions
• No automatic transport insurance is included – we recommend arranging additional cargo insurance.
• For high-value cargo (over EUR 100,000), the offer is subject to additional confirmation.

5. Delivery Conditions

• The delivery price is calculated based on the fuel price at the date of the offer.
• If the fuel price increases by 5% or more by the date of arrival, Delamode Bulgaria Ltd. reserves the right to adjust the price.

6. Special Cargo

• The offer applies to general cargo.
• Excluded unless explicitly confirmed:
  • Dangerous goods
  • Goods under customs regime
  • Temperature-controlled cargo

7. Order Cancellation

• For confirmed offers cancelled after 24 hours:
  • Penalty: 30% of the freight cost, unless otherwise agreed.
• For bookings with a cancellation fee – the fee is invoiced if cancelled after confirmation.

8. Documentation

• Delamode Bulgaria Ltd. does not send original CMR/POD or commercial documents.
• All documents are sent scanned by email after transport completion.
