Delamode BULGARIA has received ISO 27001 certification

Delamode Bulgaria is now certified to ISO 27001:2022, the international standard for information security management.
This is the fourth standard in our certification portfolio, alongside ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

When speaking about security in logistics, people usually mean the cargo. But every day something else passes through our systems that our customers entrust to us with the exact same trust: their data. Shipment details, commercial terms, prices, partner contacts. Protecting this information is just as much a part of the service as timely delivery.

ISO 27001 provides a framework for precisely that. The standard requires an organisation to manage information security systematically rather than piecemeal — access control, incident response, risk assessment, supplier requirements, staff training. All of this is subject to verification by an independent auditor.

The preparation took months and involved a detailed review of how we actually work. Some processes were confirmed, others were reworked. The result is that we can now not only state that we take data security seriously, but prove it with an external independent assessment.

For our clients, this means a few specific things. The information they entrust to us is processed according to documented and controlled rules. In the event of an incident, there is a clear procedure rather than improvisation. And when participating in tenders or during internal audits, our certificate is ready-made proof that saves time for both parties.

The certificate is also a step in our preparation for the requirements of the European NIS2 Directive, which raises cybersecurity requirements for the transport and logistics sector.

We thank the entire team that took part in the process.
Such a certificate is not obtained with documents, but with a change in daily work.
