Delamod Bulgaria became an official member of ICC Commercial Crime Services
ICC Commercial Crime Services (CCS) is the specialised department for combating commercial crime of the International Chamber of Commerce. Founded in the United Kingdom, CCS's main task is to combat all forms of commercial crime. The CCS is a membership organisation and consists of three specialist bureaux - the International Maritime Bureau, the Financial Investigation Bureau and the Counterfeit Exposure Bureau.

We are pleased to announce that as of this month, Delamod Bulgaria is a member of the International Maritime Bureau (IMB) of the ICC Commercial Crime Services (CCS). The IMB is a non-profit organisation established in 1981 to act as a reference point in the fight against all types of maritime crime and abuse. It investigates and reports on a range of topics such as credit fraud, cargo theft, ship diversion, etc.
As a member of the organization, Delamod Bulgaria receives regular information gathered from various sources and investigations, along with advice and recommendations on how to minimize the risk of abuse and fraud.
IMB also provides us with a service to authenticate the documentation for funding. This enables our new and existing clients who trade in letters of credit, but do not have an established relationship with their customers, to use our bills of lading as an assurance of credibility with the banks processing the letters of credit. They have access to a register of member information and this allows them to process transactions significantly faster.
The register was launched in January 2019 as a mechanism to recognise companies that adhere to agreed anti-fraud standards and measures. Over the years, ICC's work has thwarted many fraud attempts and saved shipping and trade millions of dollars in losses.
